Gabbie Seto and Kaitlyn Macintosh
Gabbie Seto spent years at the bedside as a Registered Nurse whose work demanded precision, composure, and the ability to hold steady when things got hard. She still does that work today, now part-time, balancing her shifts around time with her children and their busy schedule of dance, music, gymnastics, and swim lessons.
Kaitlyn Macintosh built a different kind of portfolio: handyman projects with her parents' business, a craft shop of her own, freelance photography on the side, and two kids running through all of it. They are sisters who have always existed in adjacent worlds, and Sincerely Yours is where those worlds finally merged.
What they each carried into the cake bar is less about skill sets and more about disposition. Gabbie's nursing background taught her that care is not a feeling, it is a practice which something you show up for even when you are tired, even when the outcome is uncertain. Kaitlyn's work across trades and creative fields gave her an adaptability that does not rattle easily; she has learned how to figure things out by actually doing them, not by waiting until conditions are perfect. Together they bring a kind of calm industriousness to the work that does not announce itself but shows up in the details.
There is real infrastructure behind Sincerely Yours that most people never see. Their parents, who run Odds and Ends Handyman Service, physically built the cake bar. Their husbands cover the late nights and the kid-wrangling and the market drop-offs so Gabbie and Kaitlyn can show up and do what they came to do. Friends have stepped in on tech, marketing, and social media. The business is, in the most literal sense, a family project. Gabbie and Kaitlyn do not treat that as a footnote; it is central to why any of this works.
What they are still figuring out is the balance, not the concept of it, but the daily practice. Working part-time while raising children while building a business is not a problem you solve once. It reconfigures itself constantly. What grounds them on the hard days is not a personal mantra but something simpler and more stubborn: they are doing this together.
